Our survey reveals Ireland’s love for Italian Food

A new survey carried out on behalf of Roma, has revealed that 83% of Irish people eat Italian food every week. The result shows for the first time just how big an impact Italian food has had on Irish diets since its introduction.
Furthermore the French are no match for the Italians when it comes to cooking for love as 62% of those surveyed chose Italian Food as the most romantic type of food, French food came in second with 27% followed by Irish and Indian at 6% each.

n would like to share a bowl of spaghetti with, receiving 41% of the votes, Beyonce came in second with 26% and Rosanna Davison just pipped Glenda Gilson by 3%!
Our own Colin Farrell was edged out by Scottish hunk Gerard Butler as the man who most Irish ladies would like to share a bowl of spaghetti with getting 29% of the vote compared to Gerard’s 37%. Despite his undoubted charms Irish Soccer Boss Giovanni Trappatoni received just 2% of the votes!
